Often mistakenley called "minor league" cards, this issue consists of 231 ungummed stickers pertinent to the Puerto Rican winter baseball league. A colorful album was available in which to paste the stickers, though obviously stickers that have evidence of glue or torn paper have little collector value. Besides individual player photos, there are stickers of "old-timers" and groups of stickers which make up composite photos of all-star teams and of the island's god of baseball, Roberto Clemente. Team emblem stickers are also inclued. Many big league stars who were either beginning or ending their pro careers can be found in the set, including some Hall of Famers. Stickers have color photos on the front, with backs printed in Spanish. They measure 2-1/4" X 3". Willard Brown is shown above. In the photo Brown is wearing a Santurce Crabs (Cangrejeros) uniform.
