It's unclear why certain 1949-50 Acebo cards almost never surface, while others are found in nearly every small batch that's uncovered. Whatever the reason, Ray Dandridge happens to fall into the "almost never surfaces" category. This is one of the rarest cards of this Negro League legend. The year on the label mistakenly says 1950-51, but the correct year is 1949-50. It's been graded a 10 by SGC.
