Al Barlick

(b. April 2, 1915 - d. December 27, 1995)
|
| One of the most respected arbiters in baseball, Barlick began his
career in the NL in 1940 when old-timer Bill Klem was injured. He
worked in Jackie Robinson's first game. Barlick also umpired in
seven All-Star contests and in seven World Series. |
