Comments: My first portrait of the congressman was a 1968 Topps PSA 9 purchased via eBay in January, 2000. In September, 2000 I had an opportunity to swap the card out for an earlier portrait - a rookie card and won a 1957 Topps PSA 8 from seller 1995. I came to own a couple other '57 Topps cards, settling with Brooks Robinson to represent the issue and swapped out the Bunning for a 1961 Topps PSA 8 won on eBay in September, 2006. In February, 2010 I made one more change when I won another auction on eBay for this Wheaties PSA 8. I've been looking for a nicer MINT copy since and have not had any luck.

UPDATE: In mid-Dec, 2013, a PSA 9 showed up on eBay courtesy of probstein. I set a snipe as backup but was able to monitor the auction on my cell phone while we walked around the Denver Zoo enjoying "Zoo Lights", a local holiday event. I placed a bid in the last minute and it held to win - for a mere $20 + S&H. I enjoyed the victory with some Baileys and hot chocolate.
