Comments: In 2013 I had to pick up a card of the best pitcher in the game with the prospect of him making the Hall someday.  I came across this Topps Black Diamond redemption card on eBay and purchased a raw example for $2.99 including S&H.  It was submitted to PSA and returned MINT 9 to me on 8/23/2013.  Since then I’ve been searching for another example for a possible bump.  They don’t come up to often and when they do, sellers want too much ($10+).

UPDATE:  On 8/27/2014, a mint copy showed up on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $3.99 including S&H.  It was submitted to PSA, a free submission with my Collectors Club voucher, at the 2015 National (Chicago).

UPDATE:  On the last day of August, 2015 I received an email from PSA – my grades were ready.  I waited until the evening and open up the submission:

Kershaw popped with a 10 – boo yah!!!  No more searching eBay.  I can cross that one off the ole wantlist.
