Although this unnumbered set of paper premiums has the name "Diamond Stars Gum" on the back, it is not related to National Chicle's Diamond Stars cards sets. Rather, this 48-player set was a premium issued by the Goudey Gum Company. Each premium photo measures 4" X 6-3/16" and is printed in a brown-toned sepia. The front of the photo includes a facsimile autograph, while the back contains drawings that illustrate various baseball tips. These pictures are sometimes found with top and bottom border trimmed to a depth of 5-3/4" for distribution in Canada. Card is graded VG/EX by SGC.
